Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider the candidature of the petitioners by including them in the Recruitment Process to fill up the 286 current vacancies and 623 backlog vacancies of BT Assistants for the Department of School Education conducted by the first respondent from among all the previous TNTET qualified candidates in pursuance of the Notification dated 7.3.2017 issued by the first respondent for selection for appointment for the Post of BT Assistant (Maths) under MBC (DNC) (W) on the basis of their merit and to consequently direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioners in the said post with all consequential benefits.
