This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representations dated 25.1.2017 and 15.3.2017 for getting approval and for continuation of the students studies in D.Ele.Ed course.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, the petitioner is the Correspondent of Issac Christian Institute of Professional Education and Religious Trust and group of education trust and his trust is running the college under the name of Christian Teacher Training Institute, conducting DTED, B.Ed and M.Ed course. It is further stated that their institution is a Christian Institute of Professional education and religious trust located in rural area. During the academic year 20162017, they have admitted 100 students in D.Ele.Ed. Course which was allotted through single window admission and 97 students were admitted in Diploma in Teacher Training Education on management Quota. But 3 students were not admitted in the above said D.Ele.Ed Course and therefore, they are lapsed in Admission list for the academic year 2016-2017.
In order to get approval from the first respondent, the petitioner institution have submitted a representation to the first respondent through the second respondent on 25.1.2017 along with the all required documents of the students and students admission list along with the order of NCTE for obtaining approval for the students admission and for continuation of studies, followed by reminder dated 15.03.2017. But, till date, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representations. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
