[ Respondents] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose the representation dated 7.11.2015 which was forwarded by the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent for ncessary action on 26.11.2015 and to grant permission to the petitioner to remove the SEEMAI KARUVALAN TREES in Survey No.21 Government Poromboke land situated in Keelputhur Village Vandavasi Taluk Thiruvannamalai District on his own cost.

Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 07.11.2015 which was forwarded by the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent for necessary action on 26.11.2015 and to grant permission to him to remove the SEEMAI KARUVALAN TREES in Survey No.21, Government Poromboke land situated in Keelputhur Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District on his own cost.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2015, the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the same yet. 5.

Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2015, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
