This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct open bidding on the date of opening of bids i.e., 29.01.2019 and select the applicant, who offers to pay highest amount for retail outlet dealership at Gummidipoondi to Elavur on NH-5 LHS bearing location Sr.No.239.

2. After notice, this matter is listed today for further hearing.

3. It is represented by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent that already bid has taken place on 29.01.2019. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further, based on the prayer sought for as such.

4. If the petitioner has any further grievance, it is open to him to file a separate proceedings. Granting such liberty, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
