ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Registration

Department to prosecute respondents 10 to 16 as per the provisions of Section 83 of the Registration Act for the alleged violations committed by the offenders under Section 83 of the Registration Act.

2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the official respondents have already lodged a complaint against the offenders, namely the respondents 10 to 16, under the provisions of Section 83 of the Registration Act. The complaint given by the 9th respondent to the 3rd respondent Police, dated 08.01.2026, against the respondents 10 to 16 is also placed on record.

3. In view of the same, this writ petition has now become infructuous, since the prayer sought for in this writ petition has already been achieved.

4. Accordingly, this Court, after recording the fact that the 9th respondent has already lodged prosecution against the respondents 10 to 16, before the 3rd respondent, as per the provisions of Section 83 of the Registration Act, disposes of this writ petition as infructuous. No costs.

5. With regard to the prosecution lodged by the 9th respondent against the alleged offenders, namely respondents 10 to 16, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the appropriate Court for initiating further action against the alleged offenders, namely the respondents 10 to 16.
