Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider my representation dated 09.08.2017 towards re-classification, from the present Anadheenam classification of the land with extent of 1 Acre 65 Cents in Survey No.57/1 of Thazambur Village, Thirupporur Taluk, Kanchipuram District from and grant of Patta in favour of the petitioner and other legal heirs of the Narayanaswamy, within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.08.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for granting Patta in his favour and other legal heirs of the deceased Narayanasamy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far. At this stage,
this Court, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
