ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pay the salary due to the petitioner from April, 2003 till 30.06.2005 with interest within a fixed time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that by a communication in Na.Ka.A3/1865/05, dated 19.08.2005, the Block Development Officer, Natrampalli, Vellore District, directed the fourth respondent herein to pay the salary due to the petitioner for the employed period. Despite the same, the salary due has not been paid to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent dated 11.12.2006 and since the said representation has not been considered so far, this writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to pay the salary due from April, 2003 till 30.06.2005 with interest within a fixed time frame.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the fourth respondent is hereby directed to pay the salary due to the petitioner for the employed period namely, from April, 2003 till 30.06.2005 with interest, within a period of four weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
