Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 1st respondent office Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlements) Tamil Nadu dated 8.4.2008, in Pen23/V/1250/Urg/07-08/31/32 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to include the petitioner name for family pension proposals.

On the earlier occasions when the matter was heard, the current status of the writ petition was required to be ascertained. At that juncture, Ms.Arulmozhi, learned counsel on record for the petitioner stated that she had not been in a position to reach the petitioner despite her best efforts.

2. This Court thus issued notice to the petitioner by the registry of this Court and the registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner as well in the cause list. Though service upon the petitioner is incomplete, the name of the petitioner is printed in the cause list.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that notice issued by her to the petitioner has been returned stating that there is no such addressee at that address and she has also not been able to contact the petitioner over the telephone. In the aforesaid circumstances, I see no reason to keep this matter pending any further and thus close the writ petition. No costs.
