ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to Crime No.23/2017 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that impersonated the defacto complainant and executed the release deed infavour of the other accused persons. Subsequently, the said release deed was cancelled. Therefore, he seeks direction of this Court to conclude the investigation and permit the petitioner to place the relevant materials before the Law Enforcing Agency.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is directed the Law Enforcing Agency to conclude the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner to place the material before the Law Enforcing Agency.

In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
