According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 31.10.2018 to furnish particulars sought for by him in his representation. The said representation has not been considered and hence, filed a writ petition before this Court.
2.According to the petitioner, Award No.9 of 2001 was passed on 02.11.2001 fixing the compensation at Rs.9,283/- and thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 07.05.2007 to the 1st respondent seeking compensation and also for enhanced compensation as granted to the other neighbouring land owners.
Since, the petitioner has not received any reply and got no relief, he has filed a writ petition in W.P.No.19139 of 2011 before this Court for a direction to pay the compensation for the said lands in Survey No.362/1. When the writ petition came up for hearing, it was represented on behalf of the respondents that the compensation amount has already been deposited in Civil Court and the same can be received by approaching the Civil Court by producing reliable documents and this court has given liberty to approach the Civil Court for the same in accordance with law. Since the petitioner was not aware of the case number in which reference was made and the Court in which the amount has been deposited, he has been approaching the authorities in regard thereto.
But, so far, the said particulars have not been furnished and hence, he made representation to the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on the same. 4.Hence, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law on merits as expeditiously as possible within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner.
5.In the result, this Writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
