2. This Court by an order dated 30.04.2010 disposed of the writ petition with a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.03.2010 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on the basis of the communication received from the District Revenue Officer namely the second respondent in the contempt petition, has stated that the order of this Court has been complied with by the issuance of order of the District Revenue Officer dated 01.03.2012. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to verify whether the order is in compliance of the directions of this Court, having regard to the submission of learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court need not keep the matter pending unnecessarily.

4. On the basis of the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, reporting compliance, this contempt petition is closed. In case no such 2/3

order is passed by the District Revenue Officer, it is open to the petitioner to recall this order. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
