For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sethuraman For Respondent : Mr.C.Thirumaran Special Government Pleader

ORDER

1. Mr.C.Thirumaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that Vide order dated 18.11.2016, this Court directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2010, in W.P.No.18382 of 2010, which the petitioner

had earlier filed. The respondent Vide his proceedings in Rc.No.9/2007 dated 26.05.2017, has disposed of the petitioner's representation. Following which, the petitioner had made another representation dated 02.08.2017 to the respondent, and yet again approached this Court in W.P.No.26957 of 2017, and an order came to be passed by this Court on 30.01.2018. In compliance to this order, the respondent has sent a communication to the petitioner Vide Rc.No.17523/2013/F5 dated 10.07.2018, through registered post enclosing a detailed chart providing the break-up details of compensation paid.

2. Further, it is submitted by the respondent's counsel that there was an omission in the said proceedings dated 26.05.2017, to inform the Court that whatever that was awarded to the petitioner was the one arrived by consensus under Section 7(2) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999) and this includes whatever that may be given as solatium and interest. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would now interject to submit that since there is no clarity in the nature of the order passed by the respondent, the petitioner prefers to challenge it separately.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this contempt petition is closed.
