PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to direct in the C.M.P.No.6671 of 2019 in M.C.No.6 of 2012 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam to complete the proceedings expeditiously and pass the other appropriate order to secure the ends of justice and thus render justice. O R D E R

This Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct in the C.M.P.No.6671 of 2019 in M.C.No.6 of 2012 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam to complete the proceedings

expeditiously.

2.This Court on 06.02.2023, directed the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam, to send a report as to why C.M.P.No.6671 of 2019 was not disposed, when there was a direction by this Court to dispose this petition within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.13218 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.No.923 of 2019. 3.In response to this order, learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam, sent a report stating that from 17.12.2020 to 15.11.2021, petitioner was not present for fifteen hearings and her counsel was also not present. On 15.11.2021, counter was filed by the respondent. From 13.12.2021 to 22.02.2022, counsel for both the parties did not appear jointly.

He further submitted that due to intervention of Covid-19 lockdown, appearance of parties and Advocates were restricted from April 2020 to February 2022. His predecessors have not taken action to dispose the Cr.M.P.No.667 of 2019, as per the direction of this Court. He joined only on 06.05.2022 and he would dispose this petition within two weeks time. 4.

Madurantagam, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurantagam to dispose C.M.P.No.6671 of 2019 in M.C.No.6 of 2012 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order without any further excuse.
