Respondent PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order of dismissal from service passed in Na.Ka.No.11204/03 Pa.1 dated 12.05.2008 on the file of the Respondent herein and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner with continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant benefits.

The instant writ petition has been passed filed challenging the dismissal order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.11204/03 Pa.1 dated 12.05.2008 and further seeking for a direction to the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant benefits

Mrs.Thangavadhana Balakrishna, learned Additional Government Pleader states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Criminal Appeal filed by the petitioner against conviction of the petitioner, under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, has been allowed and the petitioner was reinstated back into service consequent to the Criminal Appeal being allowed. The petitioner has also reached the age of superannuation and has retired from service on January 2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taking note of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader on record, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
