O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1st and 2nd respondents to post the petitioner at Government Medical College Coimbatore as Assistant Professor/Senior Resident, by considering his representation dated 11.03.2015 and 16.03.2015.

2. When the mater was listed on 20.10.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was directed to be listed on 31.10.2023 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e., on 31.10.2023, when the matter is called for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner

3. However, learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 are present and the learned counsel for the third respondent submitted that the petitioner had already been appointed to the post he had sought for. 2/4

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the third respondent, it is clear that the petitioner may not be interested in prosecuting the case any more.

5. Accordingly, with these observations, the writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes 31.10.2023 Speaking Order (sha) To
