This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2023 and also to direct the respondent to fix the date for hearing the appeal No. R3 2218319/2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Since the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for simple writ of mandamus to dispose the petitioner's appeal, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2023 and after giving due opportunity of hearing and notice to the writ petitioner, as well as rival claimants/interested parties, if any and conduct enquiry and dispose the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law, if already not disposed of. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
