This writ petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the orders passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings No.4396/A3/2009 dated 24.08.2009 quash the same. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 13.06.2022, this Court passed the following order:

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the issue involved in this writ petition pertains to an election issue and nothing may survive in this writ petition. However, the learned counsel sought for some time to take instructions and report before this Court.

Post this case under the caption 'For Withdrawal' on 20.06.2022.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in spite of his best efforts, he is not able to get instructions with regard to the fact as to whether anything survives in this writ petition, since it involves an election dispute. 4.In the considered view of this Court, on carefully going through the material placed before the Court, nothing may survive in this writ petition, since it involves an election dispute and by passage of time, there will be nothing substantial to be decided in this writ petition. 5.In view of the above, this writ petition is closed.
