This Writ Petition is filed to quash the proceeding No.CMWSSB/P& A/STF/RA1/13322/2008-1 dated 25.09.2009 and to direct the respondents to constitute a fresh panel or eligible candidates for promotion to the various posts from 25.10.2007 in accordance with the Employees regulations 1978 of Chennai Metro Water Board. 2/4
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents are present.
3. It is reported that the petitioner was already promoted as sought for in this Writ Petition and subsequently retired from service after attaining the age of superannuation.
4. The petitioner retired from service, thereby cause does not survive any more. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of as Infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 18.10.2023 jai Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No 3/4
