CRIME NO.3680/2020 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the conditional order passed by this Hon'ble High Court on 09.12.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.19292/2020 in Crime No.3680 of 2020 to permit the petitioner/accused to sign before the Superintendent of Police, Vellore instead of The Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. N.JAYACHANDER, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.C.IYYAPPARAJ, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.19292 of 2020 by order dated 09.12.2020 directing the petitioner to report before the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai, everyday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as Inspector of Police at Vellore District and that he is undergoing treatment for his leg pain and thereby, he finds it difficult to travel to Thiruvannamalai, everyday to comply with the condition. Hence, he seeks for modification.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

4.Considering the facts and submissions of the learned Counsels, the condition 6(b) imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.19292 of 2020 by order dated 09.12.2020, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

5.This petition is ordered accordingly.
