Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records and quash the Award dated 1 / 4

29.04.2009 passed in I.D.579 of 2000 and the order dated 06.04.2010 passed in I.A.No.112 of 2009 in I.D.No.579 of 2000 on the file of the 1st respondent, Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Chennai.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Suresh and M/s.D.Veda For Respondents : R-1 - Court R-2 - Died R3 to R6- Mr.R.Thanjan O RDER When the matter is taken up on the earlier occasion, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought time stating that there was possibility of settlement.

2. Today, when the matter was takenup, the learned counsel for the petitioner have produced the Memo of Compromise signed by the parties which reads as follows:

"In the above writ petition, a compromise has been arrived between the Petitioner - Management and the legal heirs of the 2nd Resopndent, i.e. the Respondents 3 to 6 herein under the following terms and conditions:

1. The Petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand) only to the 3rd Respondent, who is none other than the wife of the deceased 2nd Respondent, within four weeks from the date of receipt of the order in the writ petition as full and final settlement of all dues and claims of the Respondents 3 to 6.

2. The Respondents 3 to 6 shall have no future claims against the Petitioner's management.

3. The Respondents 3 to 6 shall not file any proceeding in respect of the Award dated 29/04/2009, passed in I.D.No.579/2000.

4. The Respondents shall not file any proceeding in respect of the order dated 06.04.2010, passed in I.A.No.112/2009 in I.D.No.579/2000.

5.The Writ Petition shall be disposed off in the above terms." This writ petition is disposed off in terms of Memo of Compromise which shall form part of the order.
