The petitioner seeks a mandamus to the respondents, being the Indian Bank and two branches of State Bank of India to close unclaimed deposits standing in the name of late V.K.Arumugam and credit the proceeds of those accounts to the credit of a Suit pending in O.S.No.7 of 2008 on the file of III Additional District Judge, Tirupattur.

2. Such prayer is misconceived, since it would have to be raised by way of an application in the pending Suit itself and not by way of a Writ Petition.

3. That apart, there are various factual particulars that would have to be marshalled, such as the claim of the petitioner to those deposits, relationship between himself and Late V.K.Arumugam and others, which cannot be gone into in a Writ Petition.
