O R D E R

This petition has been preferred by the petitioner before this Court after invoking the proviso to Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.04.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is averred in the petition that one Devendran, Rajaram and Muralidharan threatened the petitioner demanding money and restrained him from putting up construction. Hence, the petitioner had lodged a compliant before the respondent police on 15.04.2014. Since no action was initiated on the said complaint, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint of the petitioner was treated as petition and the same was closed as civil in nature, after due enquiry. He further submits that a civil suit is pending between the parties and the interim injunction moved by the complainant was also dismissed.
