O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue Patta in favour of the petitioner considering the representation dated 14.12.2021.

2. The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property. He purchased the property in the year 1940, the Revenue Officials re-classified the land as Tharisu, for which the petitioner filed a Civil Suit in O.S.No.136 of 1997, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Satyamangalam which was decreed in favour of the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same the respondents, filed A.S.No.57 of 1998 and S.A.No.1204 of 1999, both were dismissed by confirming the order of the lower Court. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 14.12.2021 to the respondents for issuance of Patta, but, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, this Writ petition is filed with the above said prayer.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2021 will be considered by the respondents within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.012.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
