ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the Order of the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.301, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Election) Department dated 24.08.2004 and quash paragraph 4(4) insofar as it continues the Executive Officers of the erstwhile Town Panchayats in the third grade municipalities.

2. When the case was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He also made an endorsement in the bundle to that effect.

3. Such view of the matter, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
