Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 5 to 11 in the water bodies namely R.S.No.93 and Survey No.32/1 of Old Karuvatchi Vikkiravandi Taluk Villupuram District within a time-frame.

ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Sasindran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 4.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that after the filing of the writ petition, the official respondents have removed the encroachments. However, subsequent encroachment has been made by respondents 5 and 6.
3. The respondent authorities shall once again survey the land and if any encroachment is found, take action in accordance with law. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
4. In view of the disposal of the writ petition, WMP No.16186 of 2022 is disposed of.
