This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking for Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 10, who take law into their own hands and create troubles to the peoples in the name of 'Katta Panchayat' in the petitioner's village at Chinnakalapattu, Puducherry, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2018.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, though the petitioner has given the representation as early as in the year 2018, the respondents have not passed any orders, thereby, taking action against the respondents 5 to 10.
3. Per contra, Mr.C.T.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the petitioner's representation, dated 30.01.2018 was disposed of by the official respondents on 02.06.2018 itself and assured that he would furnish the copy of the same to the petitioner.
4. In the light of the above, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this Writ Petition for any further adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, considering the fact that the petitioner has not been served with the copy of the order, which is stated to have been passed by the Official respondents, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 is directed to furnish the copy of the order passed by the officials respondents, dated 02.06.2018 to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
