The writ petition has been filed challenging the correctness of the Proceedings Ref.3912-2005-A2 dated 20.04.2005 issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode District, the respondent herein.
2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a criminal case registered against the petitioner on 20.04.2005 on the allegation that she has demanded a sum of Rs.200/- from one Arukkani/the complainant for taking necessary steps for the sanction of Distress Relief Financial Assistant of Rs.10,000/-, has been gone into by the Criminal Court and the petitioner has been convicted. As against the same, an appeal has been filed and the same is pending.
3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner to the effect that an appeal is pending as against the conviction order and in view of the subsequent development, the prayer in the writ petition has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected M.Ps. are closed. No costs.
