ORDER
By this application, the plaintiff seeks leave to file a reply statement to the written statement of the defendant. In paragraph 6 of the affidavit in support, it is stated that new factual assertions have been made in paragraphs 11 to 22, among others, and that it has necessitated the filing of such application. The defendant objects to this application on the ground that it is only an attempt to fill up the lacunae in the plaint. It is also stated that it is intended to prolong proceedings.
2. Issues were framed on 17.12.2025 and the trial is yet to commence. Considering the reasons set out in the affidavit and the stage of the suit, this application is allowed as prayed for. Consequently, the Registry is directed to receive the reply statement.
