This application is filed at the stage of recording the defendant's evidence. In the affidavit in support of this application, it is stated that these documents could not be traced at the time of filing the written statement it is further stated that the documents are relevant for purposes of establishing the defendant's defence.

2. Learned counsel for the plaintiff opposes this application on the ground that the defendant has not provided sufficient reason for not filing the documents earlier.

3. Upon considering the above, this application is allowed subject to the objections of the plaintiff interalia on grounds of admissibility, relevance and proof.
