The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.04.2016 and consequently to investigate and file the final report within the time fixed by this Court.

ssd 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-police and perused the materials placed on record.
3. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent police on 15.04.2016, there is no proof of acknowledgement to that effect has been annexed in the typed set of papers.
