Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land existing in S.F.No.40/2B at Athanoor Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and fix survey stones on all the sides within a reasonable time by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 07.04.2017.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land in S.F.No.40/2B at Athanoor Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and fix survey stones, based on his representation dated 25.11.2017.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
