A.No.788 of 2020 in TOS.No.27 of 1997 A.No.788 of 2020 in TOS.No.27 of 1997 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J Pursuant to the compromise arrived at before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the respondent was required to deposit a sum of Rs.50 lakhs to the credit of the suit towards payment in two installments. By order dated 14.08.2019, the first instalment was directed to be paid to each of the five petitioners by paying Rs.5 lakhs each to the said petitioners. The present application is filed for the payment of the second installment of Rs.25 lakhs.

2. I heard the learned counsel for the applicants.

3. The learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the second installment of Rs.25 lakhs was remitted by the respondent pursuant to the above mentioned compromise. 4. I considered the submissions of the learned counsel and also examined the affidavit filed in support of the application and the certificate of funds.

5. From the certificate of funds dated 24.01.2020, I find that a sum of Rs.25 lakhs is standing to the credit of TOS No.27 of 1997. Accordingly, this application is allowed and it is directed that the Registry shall pay a sum of Rs.25 lakhs at Rs.5 lakhs each to the five applicants.
