O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.150 of 2007, pending on the file of the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai for alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC.

2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioners and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and have entered into a Joint Compromise Affidavit, dated.05.03.2018.

3. Both the learned counsel have identified the defacto complainant, who is present before this Court today. In order to identify the petitioners, they have submitted the photo copies of their Identity Cards viz.,1.M.Antony Selvaraj - 289443308377 (Adhar Card) and 2. A.Chockalingam - 947251291091(Adhar Card) and after verification of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

original, the same are recorded.

4. Today, a Joint Compromise Affidavit, dated.05.03.2018 was also filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant to the effect that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.150 of 2007, pending on the file of the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

5. Recording the same, the proceedings in C.C.No.150 of 2007, pending on the file of the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.

6. The Joint Compromise Affidavit is filed by the 2nd respondent /defacto complainant, dated 05.03.2018 shall form part of the order.
