This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to promote the petitioner as Sub-Inspector of Police.

Mr.K.Magesh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that during the pendency of this writ petition, subsequently, petitioner has filed another writ petition in W.P.No.24395 of 2010 and this Court passed an order dated 02.12.2020. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
