The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission submitted that nothing survives for adjudication, in view of the subsequent events.

2. In view of the said submission the writ appeal is closed. However, we make it clear that the closure of the writ appeal would not amount to approval of the order impugned in this matter and the reasons given by the learned Single Judge in the order under challenge before us.
