This Transfer Petition is filed seeking to withdraw the FCOP.No.73 of 2022 from the file of Family Court, Ariyalur and transfer the same to the Family Court, Chengalpattu.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent that FCOP.No.73 of 2022 has been filed by the respondent seeking divorce. It is further submitted that both the petitioner and the respondent are working as Software Engineers and are stationed at Chennai. It is submitted that the Family Court, Chengalpattu is situated closer to the place where the petitioner is residing.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent is present and has reported no objection. However, sought for a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the petition within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the case records.

4. Considering the circumstances explained and on hearing both sides, without going into the merits, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition Page No.2/4

is allowed and FCOP.No.73 of 2022 on the file of the Family Court, Ariyalur is withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court, Chengalpattu. The learned Family Court Judge, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
