Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the second respondent dated 23.07.2008 in Na.Ka.No.62532/M3/2008 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to permit the petitioner school to participate in all the school level sports meets and competition held by the respondents 1 and 2 in the state of Tamil Nadu including the SGFI competitions and consider the opportunity of the state board students on the basis of certificate issued in such common sports meets/competition upto the national level for selection to professional and educational courses under sports quota.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. 2.Learned counsel appearing for the third respondent also submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous long time ago.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected M.Ps are closed. No costs.
