ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Lillipond (Egmore) Chennai to take the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.1554 of 2013 on the file and to expedite the trial as expeditiously as possible.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed in Crime No.1554 of 2013 and final report has been ready and yet to be filed.

3.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent police to file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
