ORDER

Challenging the award dated 09.06.2009 passed by the first respondent Labour Court in I.D. No.188 of 2007, the petitioner / Management has come up with this writ petition.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner produced a communication in Rc. No.12612/Estt/2010, dated 11.12.2018 sent by the Managing Director of Tirupattur Co-op. Sugar Mills Ltd. to him, wherein it is stated that the petitioner intends to settle the amount with interest, to the tune of Rs.1,00,000/- due to the workman Balraj.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent has also conceded the submission so made on the side of the petitioner.

4. In the light of the aforesaid letter and the submissions so made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to pay a consolidated sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the workman S. Balraj, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
