ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.10.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with Sections 20(b)(ii)(c), 28 and 29 of NDPS Act , in connection with NCB F. 1/4

No.48/1/16/2025/NCB/MDS, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein is ranked as A3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has fabricated the lorry for the purpose of making secret cavity for illegally transporting 320 kgs of Ganja. It is further alleged that on 12.10.2025, on receipt of prior information. the lorry was intercepted and the Ganja was seized by the respondent police based on the statements recorded from A1 and two other accused persons and this petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.10.2025. Hence, the petition.

3. This Court earlier dismissed the petitioner's earlier bail petition on merits by stating the following reasons"

5.I have also gone through the statements recorded from the various persons including the petitioner herein and also the owner of the vehicle who stated various facts including the role of the petitioner for making secret cavity in the seized vehicle behind the original bottom of the lorry and the investigation in this case is pending and as the seized contraband is huge quantity (commercial), this Court is not inclined to allow this Criminal Original Petition.

Now, without any change in circumstances, present petition is filed. Hence, this Court is not inclined to reconsider the earlier order. 4.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 02.02.2026 sma To 1.
