PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records pursuant to the order of review by the 1st respondent in R.C.No.37823/2007/B2 dated 02.01.2010 in the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Appeal No.IA/3/2/06-07 dated 21.12.2006 against the order of punishment in IA/2/06-07 dated 15.06.2006 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently order the respondents to extend all the promotional, monetary and other benefits to the petitioner for the period from 02.03.2000 to 31.03.2010. ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Appeal No.IA/3/2/06-07 dated 21.12.2006 against the order of punishment in IA/2/06-07 dated 15.06.2006 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently order the respondents to extend all the promotional, monetary and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

other benefits to the petitioner for the period from 02.03.2000 to 31.03.2010.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner died and he is unable to get the details of the legal heirs and has filed a memo to the said effect. Mr.P.Balathandayutham, Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents submits apart from that the writ petition is infructuous in view of the fact that the petitioner has already been promoted.

3.Recording the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner and respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
