By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents herein to consider and dispose the pending applications dated 20.10.2016 and 20.01.2018 and reminders dated 13.03.2018, 28.05.2018 and followed by
notice dated 16.07.2018, pertaining to grant of patta to the petitioner in respect of lands measuring to an extent 50 cents in Survey No.118/6 of Koladi Village and 1140 Sq.Ft., in Survey No.118/8 in VGS Nagar of Koladi Village, Maduravoyal/Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made applications dated 20.10.2016, 20.01.2018 and reminders dated 13.03.2018, 28.05.2018, followed by notice dated 16.07.2018, seeking to grant of patta to the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid property. Since, no action has been taken by the respondents till date, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. Heard Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 28.05.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to him as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of . No costs.
