Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the second respondent, dated 13/5/2015 in Letter No.B2/16458/13 Page No:1/4

with respect to the aggregate demand of Rs.21,57,000/- (Rs.20,55,000/- + Rs.1,02,000/-) towards security deposit for proposed development and security deposit towards septic tank with upflow filter as contained in Column (v) and (vi) of the impugned order of the second respondent with respect to the building to be put up at proposed constructions of stilt + 4 floors residential building with 102 dwelling units at with gym at fourth floor with premium FSI at abutting Vengambakkam main road, Kaspapuram, Chennai 73 comprised in S.No.1/1 part, present S.No.1/1B1 and 1/2A1 of Kaspapuram Village, St. Thomas Mount Panchayat Union by quashing the same and consequently direct the second respondent to grant planning permission as sought for in respect of constructions to be put up in the aforesaid property, without insisting upon the demand of Security Deposit for proposed development as well as septic tank with upflow filter contained in Letter No.B2/16458/13 dated 13/5/2015 issued by the second respondent. This writ petition has been filed to quash the order, dated 13/5/2015, passed by the second respondent in Letter No.B2/16458/13

2. Heard Mr.R.Mohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Rajesh, Government Advocate for the first respondent and Mrs.P.Veena Suresh, learned counsel for the second respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 4/1/2023 mvs.
