Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to promote the Petitioner for the post of Primary School Headmaster with effect from 02.06.2008, strictly in accordance with the Seniority list as on 01.01.2008 published by the 3rd Respondent on the basis of the proceedings of the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.No.5939/ED1/2001 dated 15.11.2001. Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents submitted that, the Petitioner has been granted promotion vide proceedings of the District Elementary Educational Officer, Tiruvallur in Na.Ka.No.4026/A5/2009, dated 06.03.2010 and hence, nothing survives for consideration in this matter.

Recording the said submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
