O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to further investigate the case in Crime No.749 of 2020.

The learned Additional Public prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the respondent police have already completed the investigation and filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Uthangarai, on 04.11.2020 in reference No.FR242/2020. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Court below is yet to take cognizance of the final report.

In view of the above development, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Uthangarai is directed to act upon the final report filed by the respondent Police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall apply for a certified copy of the final report after the same is taken cognizance and if the petitioner is not satisfied with the manner in which the investigation has taken place, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh application seeking for further investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
