ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.V.Arun, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.Karthik Jegannth, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 7 and Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel for the eighth respondent.
2. The writ petition is filed for restraining the eighth respondent from putting up construction for industrial use over the agricultural land.
3. In fact, the present petition does not involve a public interest. The eighth respondent has placed on record the No Objection Certification and approvals granted in the years 2020 and 2023.
4. In the light of that, nothing survives in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.3741 of 2018 is also dismissed. (S.V.G., CJ.) (P.D.A., J.) 25.09.2023 Index :
