Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2016 with regard to issuance of fresh family card.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 22.03.2016 for issuance of fresh Family Card.

2. Undoubtedly, if the petitioner is eligible for the Family Card, then the Authorities are bound to consider the same in accordance with law.

3. However, the petitioner has to submit an application in a prescribed format along with all the required documents for the purpose of considering the application.

4. In the present case, the petitioner states that he submitted an application on 22.03.2016. On account of efflux of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

time, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application, seeking the Family Card as if he had already not possessed any such Family Card and in the event of submitting any such application in the prescribed format, along with all the required documents, the respondents are directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and by following the procedures contemplated.
