This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 29.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta No.503 that stands in the name of the 4th respondent with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 to 3. 3.
The petitioner claims to be the owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale deed dated 21.09.2011. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the patta has been issued in favour of the 4th respondent behind 2/4
the back. Hence, the petitioner made an application before the respondents 1 to 3 dated 29.12.2023 seeking for the cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 29.12.2024 after affording an opportunity of hearing to the 4th respondent and consider the same on its own merits and in accordance of law and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
