ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to immediately commence investigation of the offence committed in respect of the property bearing Plot No.53, Kapaleeswarar Nagar, Neelangarai, Chennai - 600 041 of an area of 1 ground 1350 square feet by registering the First Information Report based on the first information furnished on 10.08.2011 by Shri C.S.Chandrasekaran as petitioner's behalf and investigate the further offences committed thereafter and further direct the fifth respondent - Inspector General of Registration to ensure that the petitioner's title and possession of Plot No.53, Kapaleeswarar Nagar, Neelangarai, Chennai - 600 041 of an area of 1 ground 1350 square feet is not deprived by fraud or forgery.
2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, this writ petition may be closed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for appropriate relief.
3. In view of the above, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authorities, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
