Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 05.08.2021, which reads as follows:

'Ms.R.T.Sundari, learned counsel representing the counsel on record for sole writ petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned State counsel for three

respondents (official respondents) are before this Virtual Court.

2. Learned State counsel submits that he has filed a counter affidavit and he is ready to argue the main writ petition.

3. On behalf of writ petitioner's counsel, an adjournment by one week is sought stating that the case papers have been misplaced in the writ petitioner's counsel's office.

4. Request acceded to.

5. List this matter one week hence.

6. List under the same cause list caption 'FINAL HEARING CASES' on 12.08.2021.'

2. Today, Ms.R.T.Sundari, learned counsel representing the counsel on record for sole writ petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned State counsel for three respondents (official respondents) are before this Virtual Court.

3. Learned counsel for writ petitioner submits that the captioned writ petition has since become infrucutous as the writ petitioner was regularised and post regularisation, he also retired from service.

4. Therefore, recording the submission made on behalf of counsel for writ petitioner, captioned writ petition is disposed of as closed without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, M.P.Nos.2 and 3 of 2008 are also closed.
